Hot off the press...

I got it, I got it!!! The 4th book of the Twilight series is all mine and it was in my hands and on its way home 13 minutes after being released. I joined some great gals at our local Barnes & Noble for the release party (I guess you could call it that) I think I could safely say we were some of the oldest there, and we came pretty underdressed. There were teenagers there in prom type dresses, twilight t-shirts, goth makeup and clothes. I think I even saw someone with vampire teeth! I definitely felt somewhat geeky to be so obsessed about something that I would be in line waiting for it to come out, but here I am blogging about it at 1 am! Who knew that the hottest place to be in College Station on a friday night would be the bookstore? Hmmmm....That would make me like on the 'A' list since I was there on the scene. Yeah, I'll go with that, 'A' list for me, I'm cool and so totally not geeky or too old to be doing this stuff, nope not me, I am an 'A' lister. Ha!

Alrighty then, I have to hurry to bed while I feel tired because it is taking all (what little I do have) will power to tear myself away and not dive right into reading.

Must. Go. To. Bed.

Well well well. Look whose blog I found! You and your Twilight books! I'm just jealous that I'm not as cool as you! ;)

Ok, so how are you liking it? I read the other three a while back and they were a fun read...nothing too taxing on my worn out brain.

I know how you feel -- I went to a Harry Potter release party and felt like I was a chaperone. And, I was, so totally muggle...stood out like a sore thumb.

You are so funny! I can't wait to read it either...I wasn't as cool as you to go wait in line for it, but I will get around to reading it shortly! Come say hello on our blog... www.melandjoe.com

It was great to see you the other night!

My apologies/condolences to Jonny. Cam got hers on the way back to Utah. One night she came in and set the book down and said, "I'm done." I said, "Of course you are, why else would you put the book down and be talking to me?"

Richard just showed me this post. I must say I have been a failure of a wife/mother since Tuesday-when I started "Twilight", I flew through the first two and I just went to the library and got Book three. I'll probably be up way to late tonight and get nothing done during nap time tomorrow. But I am so hooked. Email me so we can talk about them. My email should appear below to you (i think)
