Getting caught up...

Keeping up with this blog is not as easy as I had thought. So I guess getting to it once a week will just have to do. So here is the latest in our lives:

I took my poor Lukey and sweet Mia to the doctor for their well checks. Luke had to get 5 shots and sweet Mia had to get 4. Not fun, especially not by yourself. These shots really messed with Mia and she is just now letting go of the fussies! Jonny and I are so excited because the kids were all weighed and measured at the visits. Poor Mckenna and Luke are both measuring little. Luke is taller than 5% of the kids his heighth and a little more on weight. If Mckenna continues on her growth curve she will be lucky to be 5'1"!! Well it was Mia's turn to measure up on the growth curve and we are happy to report that she is bigger and heavier than 50% of the babies her age!!! Woohoo we finally have a big kid!!

Mckenna started her first week in basketball. She loved the thought of play bball, but not so much when walking into a big gym full of girls she didn't know and lots of basketballs. The first day was not so fun for her. She isn't one to know what hard means. Most things come very easy to her and unfortunately basketball isn't one of those things. She will have to work hard to get better and she wasn't so sure she was up to that. The second day of practice went much better and we are hoping she will come to love it and not scare herself out of it!

Last but not least, welcome to Maggie Grace Gibson. A VERY healthy baby girl born last Tuesday to the geeky Dad and Sweet Mom, Dave and Serena! She was 8 lbs 14 oz. and 22 inches long! She is precious and already has her parents wrapped around her finger! So, welcome Maggie! Mia can't wait to play dolls with you!

That pretty much covers the events of last week, minus the acquisition of my odyssey!! You can read the next post to hear all about that!!

Happy MLK Day ya'll!!!

P.S. Dave, if you can't say anything nice it's best to not say anything at all!!!!
